In the dusty lanes of rural Bihar, a quiet transformation is taking place—one joyful classroom at a time. With the introduction of the curriculum, children who once roamed the streets and picked through waste are now sitting in classrooms, reading simple English sentences and smiling with confidence.
Dr Sheena, the leader of ASHA PROJECT shares the incredible story of change. Working with children from a rat-eating community, she saw firsthand how these children—many of whom had never been to school—were given a new beginning through the curriculum.
Thanks to training provided by Joy Ann’s team, local teachers were equipped with engaging teaching tools, visual aids, and structured routines. They began teaching children who had no concept of classroom learning. Within weeks, signs of change began to emerge.
“Many of these children are now enrolled in government schools,” she says. “Their parents tell us that they’re proud, and they’ve started dreaming of a better future.”
What worked in Bihar can work anywhere. The Siadant curriculum is adaptable to diverse communities and low-resource environments. It brings not just education, but hope, hygiene, and dignity—starting with the youngest and most vulnerable.
This story from Bihar reminds us that every child has potential—sometimes all they need is a little structure, support, and someone who believes in them.
And the Siadant curriculum does just that—one classroom at a time.
