From a Single Classroom to a Movement of Transformation

A Teacher’s Calling

JoyAnn Philip began her journey as a teacher in 1989, founding Kids’ Joy School in Mumbai. Her love for teaching only deepened over time.

A Life-Changing Visit

In 2017, a visit to villages in North India opened her eyes to the brokenness in early education systems among marginalised communities.

The Curriculum Is Born

With her daughter Priyanka, JoyAnn developed a curriculum that is Indian in heart, global in outlook, and relevant to all learners.

Scaling with Master Trainers

The Master Trainer system ensures consistency and mentorship across 5–7 schools per trainer—reaching deep into villages and cities alike.

Where We Are Today

Operating in 14–16 states, SIADANT reaches over 6,000–8,000 children and continues to grow—restoring dignity and opportunity.

Because Schooling Isn’t the Same as Learning

The Problem

23.4% of Std III children only were able to read at the Std II level.
Less than 45% of Std V children could read at the Std II level.
Less than 28% of Std III could do a numerical subtraction problem.
Just 31% of Std V children in India who could do a numerical division problem

Deeper Barriers

The Root Issue

The system fails to meet children where they are. Teachers are underpaid, overworked, and classrooms lack creativity and critical thinking.

Siadant bridges the gap with joyful curriculum, teacher empowerment, and an inclusive model that breaks social and systemic barriers.

90% of the brain is developed by age 6. Siadant uses this short window period to significantly impact the learning attitude and capacity of the child lifelong.
